K K Ohio Feb. 6 I disagree with the “rage” characterization. I saw Canadians acting first with restraint, then with reference and attempts to recall and refocus on shared values, then only finally pivoting with clear head and calm reasoning that the toddler in the next room will not stop throwing his toys out of the playpen, so it’s time to let him sit with his tantrum. I see determination and a strong sense of national self from Carney and Canada and watch with pride for them and sorrow for us.
